Too Many Entry Points, Not Enough Control.
Access across Phibblestown House relied on a mixture of physical keys and shared PIN codes. With codes easily passed between people, management had little control over who could enter the blocks and shared facilities.
There were no access logs, making activity across the development impossible to track. This left areas such as the refuse stores and bike shed more exposed to illegal dumping, bike theft and unauthorised access. The intercoms across all 12 apartment blocks were also broken. Visitors and delivery drivers could not contact residents, leaving residents to walk downstairs whenever someone arrived.

Induct brought all 17 access points together under one centrally managed system, covering the 12 block entrances, four refuse stores and bike shed. Residents received encrypted, non-cloneable fobs linked to their individual profiles. They can also use the Induct app to open the doors and shared areas they are authorised to access.
QR intercoms were installed at each apartment block, allowing visitors to scan, select an apartment and call the resident’s phone. Residents can then see who is there and open the relevant entrance remotely.

Induct upgraded access across the entire development without requiring new handsets inside its 72 apartments. Residents were onboarded onto the new system and issued secure credentials for the areas they needed. The management company also gained access to the Induct Admin Panel, bringing every entrance, intercom and credential into one place.
Fobs can now be issued, updated or disabled remotely, while every recorded access event provides a clear history of activity across the development.
