With key entry, a separate gate system and no access logs, Fitzwilliam Quay needed greater control over who could enter the development. Induct connected its gates, block entrances and bike sheds under one platform, with app and fob access for residents.

Hunter’s Hall is a 60-apartment development in Ballycullen, Dublin, managed by Hunterswood Management Company CLG. Its three blocks share a basement, with access through front entrances, basement doors and three lifts.
The ageing intercom system had stopped working for some apartments, leaving affected residents to go downstairs to admit visitors. Visitors also had no way to use the lifts independently, as a resident’s fob was needed to enable them.
The existing access system used easily cloned fobs and provided no access logs. Three basement doors were unsecured, and antisocial behaviour in the basement had become a problem. The development needed reliable intercoms and better access control, with a way to manage doors and lifts together without major rewiring works.

Induct installed one system across nine access points: three front doors, three basement doors and three access-controlled lifts. Existing wiring from both the old access and intercom systems was reused, with installation completed in three days.
Visitors can now call residents through the QR intercom. Residents can open the front entrance and remotely enable the lift, allowing visitors to reach their apartment without using the stairs.
Induct coordinated installation and onboarding. Letters delivered to each letterbox guided residents through downloading the app, registering and joining their apartment. New encrypted fobs replaced the old clonable fobs, alongside app access.
The management company gained remote access to add users, view audit logs, approve fob requests and remove residents who have moved out.

Hunter’s Hall now has a working intercom and modern access control in one system. Residents can use a fob or the app for everyday access, and remotely admit visitors through the front door and enable the lift.
The three previously unsecured basement doors are now access controlled. With tighter control over access, the antisocial behaviour previously experienced in the basement has largely been resolved.
Induct records around 2,500 access events each week across the development. The management company can manage users and fob requests remotely, remove access when residents move out and review access activity, giving it oversight that the previous system could not provide.
